The Network and Computer Systems Administrator is a program of instruction designed to prepare individuals for entry-level employment as a network and computer systems administrator.
Duties graduates from this program should expect to perform include, but are not limited to: provide technical assistance to computer system users, answer questions or resolve network and computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. They will also provide assistance concerning the use of computer, printers, and other resources in a network environment.
Sample job titles include: Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Network Engineer, Information Technology Specialist (IT Specialist), Local Area Network Administrator (LAN Administrator), Information Technology Manager (IT Manager), and the like.
